Help prevent the spread and protect our mob! Waminda are still taking precautionary steps to manage the spread of COVID-19
You can book a Covid-19 Vaccination appointment today, by calling Waminda and speaking to reception. Vaccinations are available to Aboriginal women, men and children aged 12 years and up. Bookings are essential, and transport is available upon request.
It is strongly recommended that you wear a face mask in the primary health care setting when you cannot stay 1.5 metres from others, please see reception for a mask and please continue to practice good hand hygiene.
Self-isolate if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, including a sore throat, coughing or sneezing, or flu-like symptoms. Call our reception if you’re unwell, you can have a consultation with your healthcare provider by phone or video call.
You can ask your GP for an electronic prescription when getting your prescription medicines.
If you need Rapid Antigen Tests please ask Reception.

IF YOU HAVE FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS
- If you have severe difficulty breathing, call triple zero (000) immediately and tell the call handler and the paramedics on arrival about your recent travel history.
- If you have recently travelled overseas, or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, and have developed flu-like symptoms, fever, or respiratory symptoms, use the healthdirect Symptom Checker to help you decide what to do next.
- If you would like to make an appointment with us, it is very important that you call before visiting to describe your symptoms and travel history. We understand that this is a challenging time and we will continue to operate to deliver a service to meet our community needs.

Call our reception to make a telehealth appointment with one of our doctors.
Our practice has an appointment booking system for all consultations, we can accommodate walk in consultations with the clinical team, but it is encouraged to make a booked appointment. On arrival you will be triaged by an Aboriginal health worker prior to seeing the Doctor. If you are unable to attend face to face due to symptoms, we have the option of a telehealth appointment.
